“I’m searching, but nobody joins.”
Select 1v1 for two real guests or 2v2 for four real guests searching at the same time. 2v2 needs you and three additional real players. Browser and iPhone players share separate mode-specific queues; neither queue ever substitutes bots.
- Invite one friend for 1v1 or three for 2v2. Each needs their own guest on a device or browser session. Everyone should choose the same mode and search at the same time. For enlarged 2v2 arenas, everyone needs the latest game version; older versions use a separate team queue.
- Keep the game in the foreground and your internet connection active.
- If you don’t want to wait, cancel the search and try the offline Tutorial or browser Practice Range.
The pool is random; this version has no private-room code or guaranteed friend pairing or team assignment. You do not need to buy anything to find opponents.
“My shot felt late.”
Online actions and hits are confirmed by the server so all players get the same result. Network delay can create a gap between a tap and its confirmed outcome. Your aim is resolved when the server processes the action, not backdated to your tap.
- Use a stable Wi-Fi or cellular connection. Avoid switching networks during a duel.
- Pause large downloads and check whether a VPN or restricted network is slowing or blocking the connection.
- Check the game’s connection and pending-shot feedback. Repeated taps cannot make a delayed request arrive sooner.
Leaving and reconnecting
Leaving an active 2v2 forfeits your entire team, including your ally. Canceling a search only cancels that ticket; if all players matched first, you will see the match instead and can choose whether to leave. A disconnected player has a limited reconnect window; one expired connection forfeits that team. If both teams have expired connections, the match ends with no winner.
After an interruption
Return to the game promptly and let it reconnect. Connection timeouts can end a duel; leaving the game in the background is not an indefinite pause for your opponent. Do not clear your guest storage or open a replacement identity to recover an active match.
Browser troubleshooting
The game won’t start
Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. Make sure the site is allowed to use sessionStorage and localStorage; very restrictive privacy settings can block guest sessions or saved preferences. Try a normal browsing window if private mode is causing storage errors.
Keyboard controls don’t respond
Click the game area, then use Space to fire and X to spin during a round. If a menu, link, or input has focus, finish that interaction first. Touch controls are available without a keyboard.
Sound is silent
Browsers may require a tap or click before allowing audio. Interact with the game, check its sound toggle, and check your tab, browser, and device volume. The browser’s sound preference is saved locally.
Refreshes and new tabs
Your guest credential is stored per tab in sessionStorage. A refresh in the same tab preserves it, but closing the tab normally ends that session. A new session can create a new guest. Do not copy credentials between players or tabs. Clearing local storage resets saved browser sound and tutorial preferences.
On smaller screens, turn the device sideways for a wider arena. If your browser offers fullscreen, leave fullscreen to return to the site navigation.
iPhone troubleshooting
Screen layout
The native game is landscape-only. Hold your iPhone sideways and check orientation lock if the layout isn’t appearing as expected.
Sound and interruptions
Check the in-game sound setting, media volume, silent mode, and any connected headphones. Keep the app open during online play. Local practice pauses in the background; your online opponent does not.
Guest identity
The app keeps its guest credential in Keychain. Reinstalling is not a reliable identity reset and is not a way to delete cloud match records. If the app reports an identity or storage error, do not delete credentials while trying to recover an active match.
The verified App Store listing link is still pending. See the download notice; no working listing URL is claimed here.
A quick rules check
- Automatic runners use opposing team lanes and edge bounces at different randomized 0.90–1.60× speeds. In 2v2 allies share a lane with staggered path starts.
- Each player gets three bullets per round. In 1v1 a hit wins the round and a final miss loses it. In 2v2, hits or empty ammo eliminate a runner; eliminate both rivals to win the round. Teammates cannot hit each other. Eliminated runners spectate with controls disabled until the next round.
- Cover blocks its whole shape, consumes a bullet, and disappears for everyone until the next round. A final cover shot loses the round in 1v1 or eliminates you in 2v2.
- The first player or team to win two rounds wins the match. Spin is free aim: spinning hits follow normal round rules and never automatically win a match.
- Fifteen arenas are in the current random online pool. 2v2 uses worlds 40% wider and taller, with longer lanes but unchanged runner speeds and hit sizes. That Way is offline-only; all sixteen original arenas remain in the Practice Range.
Want to practice without a rival?
The first-launch local tutorial uses a bot and teaches movement, speed changes, ammunition, breakable cover, and Spin + Fire. It ends with a first-to-two bot duel. You can skip it or replay it using Tutorial in the browser lobby. Practice is offline and never sends gameplay or scores to the cloud.
Browser Practice Range
Choose any of the sixteen arenas or Random. Best of three is strictly first to two, with three bullets each per round and a final miss or cover shot losing the round. A spin hit wins only one round, just as in the tutorial and online 1v1.
Infinite ammo lets both you and the bot keep shooting. Hits tally with no ending or round breaks. Every third player shot changes both speeds and restores cover without teleporting or turning the runners; bot shots never change the pace. Both range modes have restart, setup, and lobby controls. Tutorial and range pause in hidden tabs.
These bot modes are separate. Online matchmaking always uses real guests: two in 1v1 and four in 2v2, never bots.

For a bug report, include your device, browser or app version, approximate match time, generated guest alias, and what happened. A screenshot can help, but remove anything private.
Never send your guest credential or Keychain contents. For privacy, access, or deletion requests, contact the owner through the verified address once published. Clearing your device storage does not delete server records.
